In case you missed it, on June 6, Douglas Rand shared a memo highlighting rate and service changes related to OVR Supported Employment (SE) services and OVR Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS).
Regarding Supported Employment (SE):
- Effective June 11, 2022, most of SE service rates will increase; with all hourly services being equitable to the current rates of similar services provided through the Office of Developmental Programs. The memo provides the details of all changes.
- Effective October 1, 2022, the Employment Services Premium (SE007) and the Longevity Premium (SE008) will be discontinued. This change is being made in response to recent guidance provided by the Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center. The last date to request a premium in CWDS is September 30, 2022. Any requests submitted after September 30, 2022, will not be considered for payment.

Regarding Pre-Employment Transition Services: Any questions related to the Pre-ETS changes outlined in the memo can be directed to Kim Robinson (kirobinson@pa.gov) and the Transition Division at OVR. Pre-ETS providers will be informed of this information in a separate communication from that team.
